Another great game for the Colorado State women's basketball team. We managed to stay on top with North Dakota always trailing behind. The game was so intense all the way through the remaining seconds of the second half.
I noticed there was a lot more team work going on compared to past games. If one team member screwed up, somebody was always there to help. I could tell the team worked on this in their practices since the last home game.
"The team seemed really put together in this game," said alumni Nate Holder. "I think if they keep this up, they could have some more wins in their future."
I observed some anger on the court from both teams. Toward the end of the game North Dakota kept getting fouls called on them. Probably if they did not get so physical they might have come a little closer to winning or possibly could of won. CSU stopped getting so physical at the end and just tried to finish strong. Toward the end of the first half, fouls were being called on them practically every 30 seconds.
The final score was 58-52, with the Rams adding another win to their statistics.
