Many sports will be starting here within the next few weeks or so. Right now,volleyball is the only sport that has actually started it's season.
They swept the first three games 3-0. Unfortunately they lost Monday 0-3, but their season looks optimistic. With such a strong start and past seasons doing so well, it looks like they could have a really good season.
The season first started last Friday the 26th against Arkansas. The next games that they will play are this weekend, both Friday and Saturday against Nebraska and Albany at 7:00 pm.
This Friday the cross country team will start their season at the Wyoming Invitational. They have done very well here for the past three seasons and hopefully they will make it a great start to the 2011 season.
Football's season starts this Saturday against New Mexico. The 2010 season was a hard one to forget for anyone, but hopefully it can only go up from here.
I am a huge football fan and only hope for the best for them. Next Saturday they play their first home game against Northern Colorado. The game will take place at 2:00 pm at Hughes Stadium.
